“Life in a Radio” with Vishwanath Academy (Radio workshop)
This activity is to educate about the radio/ fm station , what is FM Radio & how its work. How people can do a job in this industry .
Execution – Will do a 3 day Radio workshop with FM RJ’S in which we will cover lot of topics – 2 hours daily.
Topics which we will cover in this workshop –
DAY 1
- What is FM Radio station
- How it work ( short details about the team, software etc)
- How the RJs & Team work on the content/ fabric/ caller interaction ( links).
- Back bone of the radio station apart for the RJ’s
- How to become a RJ/ Producer/copywriter/sound engg./Music Manager
- Open question sessions about the FM Radio stations with Vishwanath Academy students
- Practical activity with the students – Voice over workshop
- Practical activity with the students – Extempore on different topic
- At the end RJ will give one task on the content
DAY 2
- Day 1 Task sessions
- Internship on the radio stations
- About the Music
- About the software’s – RJ’S will Show how it works.
- About the sound eng work & script writing
- About the OB
- Open question sessions about the FM Radio stations with Vishwanath Academy students
- Practical activity with the students – Advertisement Workshop
- Practical activity with the students -Interview Session how to take interview
- At the end RJ will give one task on the content
DAY 3
- Day 2 Task sessions
- Digital effect now on FM station
- About podcast
- Digital Content/ videos
- Tracking on other operators
- Sales Team work , Tech Team work , Marketing Team work.
- Job profile in a radio stations
- Practical activity with the students Story-telling.
- Practical activity with the students Content writing.
- Open question sessions about the FM Radio stations with Vishwanath Academy students
- Announcement of the winners – WHO WILL DO SHOW ON FM WITH RJ’S & ALSO STUDENTS/ PARENTS/COLLEGE STAFF CAN GET A GIFT OF MUSIC.
RJ’S will play all audios/elements to understand better for the student – Sweepers promo links TOH, Traffic update, Time check. etc.

This workshop is ** FREE** for students of ** VISHWANATH ACADEMY ** [Class – xi and xii] and if any one from outside wants to participate in the RADIO-WORKSHOP then they will have to pay Rs.1000/- [one time] as registration fee.
