CBSE Board Exams 2022 Term 1 for Classes 10 and 12 would commence from November 15, 2021.

The board is expected to release CBSE Date Sheet 2022 Term 1 soon on cbse.gov.in.

Apart from the date sheet, schools are also waiting for instructions on the mode of conducting the examination and evaluation.

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Date Sheet 2022 for Term 1 Examinations would be released by the board. As per the circular shared by the board with schools, the CBSE 10th 12th Board Exam 2022 Term 1 would begin from November 15, 2021. Complete date wise schedule for the same is expected to be released by this week on cbse.gov.in. Tentative release date and updates are provided below.

This year, in view of the disruptions caused by COVID19, the board has decided to split the board examinations in to two terms. Term 1 – based on 50% syllabus would be conducted from November 15 to December 15 (tentatively). These examinations would be in MCQ format and students would be required to fill in the OMR sheets.

Term 2 – scheduled to be conducted in March- April 2022, would be a subjective 2 hour paper – provided the conditions are conducive. Marks for both Term 1 and Term 2 would be considered for calculating the CBSE 10th 12th Results 2022.

CBSE Date Sheet 2022 Class 10, 12 Term 1: Release date

As per reports shared in media, CBSE would be releasing the date sheet for the Term 1 November examinations on or by October 10, 2021. The board has not released any official notice regarding the same either. Teachers are, however, expecting that the board might release the date sheet by October 15. Official updates are awaited.

A few sources have informed that the final LOC compilation work has been completed by the board. With the lists and students complete, the board may soon release the date sheet.

Schools wait for clarity on mode of CBSE Term 1 Exams

As for the mode of the examination, at present the board is keen on offline examinations. Students would be required to appear for the examination at their home schools. The OMR sheets and question papers would be provided by the board.

Schools are still waiting for instructions on how to conduct the examination and the mode of sharing question papers. It is likely that the board may share multiple sets of MCQs with different schools on the day of the examination. However, in case the situation takes a turn for the worst and the exams have to be conducted online, there is no clarity as yet.

Schools are also not aware if the answer keys would be shared with CBSE or if they would be evaluated by the teachers at the schools. These details are also expected to be released by the board once the date sheet circular is released.
